Minutes for the Planning Commission Meeting of Thursday, August 24, 2023
Chair Kleissler called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.
PRESENT: Arcand, Derr, Granger, Kelly, Kleissler, Lessard
ABSENT: Andress, Petty
STAFF: Rachel Juba, Community Development Director
Max Gort, Associate Planner
Pledge of Allegiance.
Approval of Minutes for the Planning Commission Meeting of July 13, 2023
Commissioner Petty made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Lessard, to approve the minutes for
the Planning Commission meeting of August 10, 2023.
All ayes.
Motion carried.
Public Hearing: Minor Subdivision – Heidi Harvieux, Jody Avenue North
Staff gave background on the proposed Minor Subdivision for property on Jody Avenue North. The
property owner, Heidi Harvieux, requested to split the 40.06 acre property into two parcels at 30.06
and 10.00 acres in size.. The property is zoned and guided in the Comprehensive Plan as Agricultural
(AG). Properties in the AG zoning district have a minimum lot size of 10 acres. Staff is of the opinion
that the proposal meets the necessary criteria of approval, and recommended approval of the Minor
Subdivision subject to the conditions listed in the resolution.
Chair Kleissler opened the Public Hearing at 7:04 PM
No one spoke.
Chair Kleissler closed the Public Hearing at 7:04 PM.
Commissioner Arcand stated that the proposed minor subdivision looked good.
Commissioner Arcand made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Granger, to recommend approval of
the Minor Subdivision request for the property located on Jody Avenue North
All ayes.

The Minor Subdivision request will be presented at the City Council meeting on September 5, 2023.
