Performance Review Summary
To Be Read At The Upcoming City Council Meeting
On May 5, 2025, the Hugo City Council met in Executive Session for a routine annual
performance evaluation of the City Administrator, Bryan Bear. This is a summary of that
meeting given in accordance with Minnesota Statutes.
The Council noted that Mr. Bear’s work for the City has exceeded expectations in all categories
of evaluation and that under his leadership, City staff and departments have done an excellent job
of delivering cost-effective planning and services and amenities to the residents of the City of
Hugo. It was requested that he continue to innovate and identify efficient approaches to continue
to be service-oriented and innovative in his service to the residents of Hugo. Council thanked
Mr. Bear and the entire internal staff of the City departments of the City for their work in this
regard.
