HomeMy WebLinkAbout2015.03.02 RESO 2015-13RESOLUTION 2015-13 A RESOLUTIN ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND ORDERING THE PERPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE PROPOSED RICE LAKE MEADOWS ROADWAY AND DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS INCLUDING: Geneva ave from oneka lake blvd to 305 ft south of 144th st, 147th St from Geneva Ave to Glenbrook Ave., 146th St from Geneva Ave to Glenbrook Ave, Gleenbrook Ave from 144th St to 145th St, Glenbrook Ave from 146th St to 147th St from Geneva Ave to Goodview Ave, 144th St from Geneva Ave to Glenbrook Ave WHEREAS, a Resolution adopted by the City Council on December 16, 2014 called for the City's consultant City Engineer to prepare a feasibility study related to the proposed Rice Lake Meadows roadway and drainage improvements. The nature of the improvements include roadway reconstruction, storm drainage, and sanitary sewer repair, and appurtenant work; and WHEREAS, such feasibility report was received by the City Council at the February 2, 2015, regular City Council meeting; and WHEREAS, a motion of the City Council adopted on February 2, 2015, fixed a date for a Public Hearing on the proposed improvements to be held on March 2, 2015; and WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing was given, and the hearing was held thereon on the 2nd day of March, 2015, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF HUGO, MINNESOTA: 1. Such improvements are necessary, cost-effective, and feasible as detailed in the feasibility report. 2. Such improvement is hereby ordered as outlined in the feasibility report adopted the 2°a day of February, 2015. 3. WSB & Associates, Inc. is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. The engineer shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement. Whereupon said resolution was moved for adoption by Council Member Weidt and duly seconded by Council Member Klein. Council members voting AYE: Haas, Klein, Petryk, Weidt Council members voting NAY: None Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted this 2nd day of R1arc]a 2 15.
