A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
2026 BALD EAGLE INDUSTRIAL, PARK AREA STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS,pursuant to direction by the Council, WSB has prepared plans and specifications for the
2026 Bald Eagle Industrial Park Area Street Improvement Project and has presented such plans and
specifications to the Council for approval;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO:
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is on file at City Hall, are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official City newspaper and the
Finance and Commerce an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under
such approved plans and specifications.
3. The advertisement shall be published in each of said publications at least once not less than three
(3)weeks before the date set for opening bids, shall specify the work to be done, and shall state
that bids will be received on-line through QuestCDN vBidTM until the date and time set for
opening bids. Immediately following expiration of the time for receiving bids,representatives of
the City of Hugo will publicly view at an online bid opening meeting. Any bidder whose
responsibility is questioned during consideration of the bid will be given an opportunity to
address the Council on the issue of responsibility. No bids will be considered unless
accompanied by a bid security in an amount of 5 percent of the bidder's maximum bid price.
This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the City of Hugo on the 2nd f March 2026,by a
vote of five Ayes and no Nays.
