Minutes of Special Meeting
April 5, 1973
The meeting was called to order at 8:00 PM by Vice Chariman Dan Spitzer.
Members present were Iiarley Johnson, Craig Paulson, Ed Kuntz and
Dan Spitzer. Members absent were Anderacn,axd Leroux. IreAe Leroux
was also present. Lary Ehret arrived at 8:15 PM.
Dan Spitzer stated the purpose of the meeting was to set a new date of
public hearing on the Comprehensive Plan. Harley Johnson made a motion
the commission set a new date of public hearing on April 25, 1973, 8:00 RI
at the Hugo School. Motion seconded by Craig Paulson. Motion carried.
It was noted by Dan Spitzer the Village Council has directed the Planning
Commission to write an official letter stating the date which the Commission `'
has set for public hearing of the Comprehensive and the state atatuate
number.
The Commission received a. letter from the Village Council regarding
Norman Horton's Auto Dismantling Yard. The letter stated they have
asked Bill Schwab to make recommendations to the Commission before
April 17th. The council would like the commissions recommendations
on this matter before May lat.
Vern Peloquin mads a formal presentation of his future proposed
subdivision. He informed the commission of his intentions and the
nature of the subdivision.
Fred Riermann made a formal presentation of his proposed commercial
building located east of NiKhxay 61 in Vern Peleqiii.a!a future subdivision.
Motionmade by Craig Paulson the commercial pole building presented by
Fred Riermann be recommended for approval to the Village Council under
the following conditions:
1. Provide a metal interior facing on external walls in the shop
area to a height of loft.
2. Maxium number of employees restricted to 10.
3. Roof shall have an overhang of at least 18" on the long
dimension and at least 6" on the ends.
lt. Subject to adequate drainage requirements tc the satisfaction
of the village engineer.
5. Use restricted to metal fabrication operation.

Motion carried.
Dan Spitzer instructed the secretary to write a formal letter to the
Village council regarding Fred 'tiermannts building listing the recommenda-
tions for approval.
Tom Perzichilli presented some of the details of his proposed commercial
building to the commission and asked for a decision.
A motion was made by Ed Kuntz to take Toy: Aerzichil]ila proposed commercial
building tentatively on the table off the table. Seconded by Harley
Johnson.. Motion carried. Larry Ehret made a motion the commission
review Tom Fer$ichillits commercial building at the May 15th regular
meeting. Motion seconded by Ed Kuntz. Motion carried.
Motion made by Dan Spitzer to adjorn at 9:50 FM. Motion carried.
