Gentlemen:
Pursuant to Section 5.02 of the Zoning Ordinance the
Village Planning Commission held a public hearing on the
petition to re-zone the Michael Doherty property. This
hearing was held in the village hall on Tuesday evening,
May 18, 1971.
At the direction of the Commission I am advising you
*of the action taken on this matter. The Commission decided
to transmit the petition to the Village Council with the
recommendation that it be denied. The matter is herewith
remanded to your consideration.
The Council should also be aware that a special use
permit request is being held in abeyance by the Commission
pending final disposition of this re-zoning matter. According
to the Village Planning Ordinance, the rules of the Planning
Commission, and the current status of the request, the
Commission will dispose of the special use permit request dur-
ing the next regular meeting.
