SPECIAL MEETING AUGUST 13, 1973
The meeting was called to order at 8:10 P.M. by Chairman Dan Spitzer
(by direction of the Village Council) for the purpose of considering
"Special Use Permits" for Starmold and Grace Developing Company, Inc.
Members present were: Spitzer, Ehret, Kuntz, Paulson, Rosenquist, and
Council Member Irene Leroux - Jim Leroux arrived at 8:30 P.M.

Starmold requested a "Special al Use Permit" for a contemplated addition to
building

their bui l di ng extending west for warehousing purposes. A representative
of Starmold submitted drawings and a copy of a letter addressed to the
Village Council.
Mr. Spitzer questioned whether there would be any objection to a re-
striction of the "Special Use Permit" to only using the addition for
warehousing purposes. There was no objection by the Starmold repre-
sentative.
Motion made by Ehret, seconded by Paulson, that the Planning Commission
recommend "Special Use Permit" be granted to Starmold subject to the
following conditions:
1. Starmold will not increase the number of people presently employed
until public sanitary sewer is available or until proof of adequate
on-site sanitary sewer system. (The proposed sanitation system shown
on the drawing as part of this application is not to be construed as
approved by the Planning Commission).
2. Starmold submit proof of ownership of property to the Village Council
by Monday, August 20, 1973.
Members for: Spitzer, Ehret, Kuntz, Paulson, and Rosenquist - Leroux
abstained - Motion carried.
GRACE DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, INC.
Grace Development Company, Inc. requested "Special Use Permit" for the
existing building at 5118 130th street No. to be leased by a metal fabri-
cation

cation manufacturing company. Representatives from Starmold - Kenneth W.
Tschida and Grace Jackson.
Motion made by Paulson, seconded by Kuntz, that the Planning Commission
recommend a "Special Use Permit" be granted to Grace Development Company,
Inc. subject to the following conditions:

1 . Until such time as public sanitary sewer system is available or
private sanitary system can be demonstrated, not more than five
persons can be employed at the above address.
2. The "Special Use Permit' shall not extend more than ninety days
unless Grace Development Company, Inc. can show that adequate
sanitary sewer system is available.
3. Grace Development Company, Inc. shall provide the Village Council
the name of the proposed lessee and complete description of the
fabrication process and furnish proper evidence of ownership to
the Village Council .
4. Grace Development Company, Inc. shall provide evidence that the
lessee is fully aware of the conditions of this "Special Use Permit."
5. Grace Development Company, Inc. shall cause to be installed
appropriate supply of water and the number of toilets required by
the "Public Health Standards," and the eternal tank system prior
to sanitary sewer system should be done prior to the occupation
of the building by the lessee.
Members For: Spitzer, Ehret, Kuntz, Paulson, Leroux and Rosenquist.
Motion carried.
Copies of the modifications to the Washington CountyZoning Ordinance
were distributed to all the Planning Commission members in attendance.
Motion made by Spitzer to adjourn at 9:10 P.M. Motion carried.
