HomeMy WebLinkAbout1973.10.29 PC Minutes SPECIAL MEETING PROPOSED ZONING ORDINANCE OOTOBER 29, 1973 The meeting was called to order at 8:12P.M. by Planning Commission Chairman, Dan Spitzer. The purpose of this meeting is for review of the revised zoning ordinance with legal council and village planner. Planning Commission members present were Spitzer, Johnson and Ron inquiet. Carl Dale, Planning Consultant, and Charles Johnson, Village Attorney, were also present. Mr. Spitzer defined the new proposed rural zone, which was developed s developed by a subcommittee of the Planning. Commission con- sisting* of James Leroux and Dan Spitzer. The new district, which will be c al l e d "Rural Residential", will be3 acre e minimum lot size. Mr. Spitzer read the subcommittee's recommendations for principal uses, accessory uses and special uses for this district. Mr. Spitzer read the Planning Commission's recommendations for lot sizes (let width & lot depth) , set backs, eta. • Mr. Dale asked about the recommendations- had had made to the Comission. lir. After Mr. Johnson redrafts the ordinance, Mr. Dale will do the planning and map changes. Another work session for the revision of the Zoning Ordinance is tentatively set for November 27, 19?3• Motion made by Resengnist, seconded by Johnson, to adjourn meeting at 10:02. Motion carried.
