Minutes of the October 27, 1998 Parks Commission Meeting
Members absent - Debra Barnes, David Strub
New Member representing the Planning Commission - Frank Puleo
We met with the Washington County Parks person - Jim Lunger and the DNR Trails
and Waterways person - Scott Kelling to find out more information related to our
commission.
We are recommending to the City Council that Laurie McRostie be hired to help on an
ongoing basis for the year 1999 to enable our commission to better accomplish its
mission.
We will meet again on November 5 to address snowmobile issues in Hugo for the
1998-1999 season. We will also discuss a needed recommendation from us to the
City Council on the City of Mahtomedi's solicitation toward a new ice arena.
