A RESOLUTION RECEIVING BIDS AND AWARDING A CONTRACT
FOR THE 2026 BALD EAGLE INDUSTRIAL PARK AREA STREET IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT
WHEREAS,the City Council of Hugo previously directed the City Engineer to advertise for
bids for the above-referenced project, and
WHEREAS,bids were publicly received and opened on Wednesday, April 29, 2026.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT BE RESOLVED,by the City Council of the City of Hugo,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. All bids for the construction of the 2026 Bald Eagle Industrial Park Area Street
Improvement Project have been received and are tabulated on the attached
summary.
2. The bid of Bituminous Roadways, Inc., in the amount of$3,572,331.00 for the
base bid plus alternates one and two and provisional items for the construction of
said improvements, is in accordance with the plans and specifications and
advertisement for bids and is the lowest responsible bid.
3. The Mayor and Administrator/Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter
into a contract with said bidder for the construction of said improvements for and
on behalf of the City of Hugo.
4. The City Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return
forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposit
of the successful bidder and the next two lowest bidders shall be retained until a
contract has been executed.

Council members voting NAY: None
Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted this 4th day ot-M
