RESOLUTION NO. 2026-16 <br /> CITY OF HUGO <br /> WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION APPOINTING ELECTION JUDGES FOR THE <br /> 2026 PRIMARY AND GENERAL ELECTIONS <br /> WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 20413.21, subd. 2 requires election judges for <br /> precincts in a municipality be appointed by the governing body of the municipality; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, individuals listed in EXHIBIT A have applied to serve as election <br /> judges and meet the qualifications as established by Minnesota Statute 204B.19. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of <br /> Hugo, Minnesota, hereby appoints the persons listed in EXHIBIT A to serve as <br /> election judges for the Primary Election on August 11, 2026, and/or the General <br /> Election on November 3, 2026, pending completion of required training. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is authorized to assign election <br /> judges to the precincts, in accordance with statutory requirements, and to make <br /> substitutions or additions as deemed necessary in order to fill vacancies. <br /> PASSED AND DULY ADOPTED by the City Council on July 6, 2026. <br /> AWeiddt, ayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Michele Lindau, City Clerk <br />
