CITY OF HUGO
WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA
RESOLUTION APPOINTING ELECTION JUDGES FOR THE
2026 PRIMARY AND GENERAL ELECTIONS
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 20413.21, subd. 2 requires election judges for
precincts in a municipality be appointed by the governing body of the municipality;
and
WHEREAS, individuals listed in EXHIBIT A have applied to serve as election
judges and meet the qualifications as established by Minnesota Statute 204B.19.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Hugo, Minnesota, hereby appoints the persons listed in EXHIBIT A to serve as
election judges for the Primary Election on August 11, 2026, and/or the General
Election on November 3, 2026, pending completion of required training.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is authorized to assign election
judges to the precincts, in accordance with statutory requirements, and to make
substitutions or additions as deemed necessary in order to fill vacancies.
PASSED AND DULY ADOPTED by the City Council on July 6, 2026.
