ORDINANCE NO. 2000 -343
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 320 (ZONING ORDINANCE) OF THE CITY
CODE BY INCREASING THE MAXIMUM PERMITTED DRIVEWAY WIDTH FOR
PROPERTIES LOCATED IN THE URBAN AND CENTRAL RESIDENTIAL ZONING
DISTRICTS
(Fifth Amendment to Chapter 320)
THE CITY OF HUGO ORDAINS:
Section 1. Amendment of City Code. Hugo City Code, Chapter 320, Section 6.19 is
hereby amended to read as follows:
6.19. Driveways. K. Driveways must meet the minimum design requirements for the
zoning district in which they are located, as specified in Figure 6-3. However, in no case
shall the width of a driveway exceed 35 percent of the lot width, as measured at the
required front yard setback.
Section 2. Amendment of City Code. Hugo City Code, Chapter 320, Section 6.19 Figure
6-3, as it relates to driveway design requirements, is hereby amended to read as follows:

Section 3. Effective Date. This amendment shall take effect upon its passage and
publication.
