The meeting was called to order by Mayor Stoltzman at 6:45 PM.
PRESENT: Prunotte, Jesinski, McAllister, Miron, Stoltzman
City Administrator, k::en Huber
City Attorney, Charles Johnson
City Attorney, Charles Johnson, made a brief presentation, and provided a
list of potential attorneys to replace Mr. Richard Hocking to handle the
civil prosecution of Carol and David Schumann. Mr. Johnson reviewed the
credentials of each candidate, and their hourly -rate fee. Mr. Johnson
stated that he tried to contact several other law firms, and was either
turned down because of potential conflicts or the law firms did not get
back: to him. It was the general consensus of the Council that the Carson
and Clelland fee rate of $100.00/hour would probably be the most
economical. After a brief discussion, the following_ motion was
introduced
McAllister made motion, Jesinsk-i seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 1991-12,
RESOLUTION APPOINTING ACTING CITY PROSECUTOR TO HANDLE THE CIVIL_
PROSECUTION OF CAROL AND DAVID SCHUMANN FOR ALLEGED ORDINANCE VIOLATIONS.
VOTING AYE: Drunotte, Jesinski, McAllister, Miron, Stoltzman
VOTING NAY: NONE
Motion Carried.
Miron made motion, Brunotte seconded, to adiourn at %:ti(_i PM.
All aye. Motion Carried.
