The Board of Review was called to order by Mayor Atkinson at 6:10 PM.
PRESENT: McAllister, Jesinski, Olson, Vail, Atkinson
City Administrator, Ken Huber
City Assessor, Frank: Langer
City Clerk:, Mary Ann Creager
Cita: assessor, Frank: Langer, reviewed the assessor's recommendation to the
Washington County Boards of Review, with particular attention to a request
for change in classification from residential to agriculture, Case #12.
It was the assessor's recommendation that the classification remain
residential. After a lengthy discussion, the following motion was made:
Atkinson made motion, Olson seconded, that the taxation classification for
Case #12 be changed from residential to agriculture.
VOTING AYE: Vail
VOTING NAY: McAllister, Jesinsk:i, Olson
ABSTAINED: Atkinson
Motion Failed.
McAllister made motion, Vail seconded, to adopt the assessor's
recommendation to Washington County Boards of Review for 1959 as amended.
VOTING AYE: McAllister, Jesi.nsk:i, Olson, Vail.
ABSTAINED: Atkinson
Motion Carried.
Atkinson made motion, Vail seconded, to adjourn the Hugo Board of Review
at 6:50 Fti.
All aye. Motion Carried.
