MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL
BOARD OF CANVASS
November 7, 1984
Mayor McAllister convened the Board of Canvass/Hugo City Council at 7:30 PM.
PRESENT: Peltier, Atkinson, Schwab, Hauer, McAllister
The Board of Canvass reviewed the tally sheet of votes cast and accepted as submitted.
MOTION: McAllister made motion, Schwab seconded, to certify the tally sheet of the
City Election held November 6, 1984, as presented by the City Clerk.
All aye. Motion Carried.
MOTION: Schwab made motion, Atkinson seconded, that J. Michael McAllister is duly
elected Mayor for a two year term commencing 1/1/85.
VOTING FOR: Peltier, Atkinson, Schwab, Hauer
ABSTAINED: McAllister
Motion Carried.
MOTION: Peltier made motion, McAllister seconded, that James Hauer is duly elected
Councilman Ward 1 for a two year term commencing 1/1/85.
VOTING FOR: Peltier, Atkinson, Schwab, McAllister
ABSTAINED: Hauer
Motion Carried.
MOTION: Schwab made motion, Atkinson seconded, that Arthur Potts, Jr. , is duly
elected Councilman Ward for a four year term commencing 1/1/85.
All aye. Motion Carried.
MOTION: Schwab made motion, Hauer seconded, that Theodora Peltier is duly elected
Councilmember at Large for a four year term commencing 1/1/85.
VOTING FOR: Atkinson, Schwab, Hauer, McAllister
ABSTAINED: Peltier
Motion Carried.
MOTION: Schwab made motion, Peltier seconded, to adjourn at 7:37 PM.
All aye. Motion Carried.
