MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEE'T'ING OF THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL
August 31 , 1983
The meeting was called to order by Mayor McAllister at 7:09 PM.
PRESENT: McAllister, Peltier, Schwab, Vail
Bookkeeper - LuAnn Prachar
ABSENT: Dean Atkinson
The Council reviewed the budgets as submitted by department heads. The adjusted
figures will be submitted to the Council at their meeting of 9/16/83 for adoption
of the necessary Resolutions needed for certification to the County Auditor by
October 10th.
ADMINISTRATION
MOTION: McAllister made motion, Schwab seconded, amending the city's Personnel
Policy, adopted June 4, 1979, as follows:
1. That the City Council directs the Deputy Clerk, Carole LaBelle, is
entitled to 2/3's of 5 - 8 hour days or 30 hours paid vacation
effective in 1983.
2. City Clerk, Mary Ann Creager, is entitled to 2/3's of 15 - 8 hour
days or 90 hours paid vacation in 1983.
3. That the holidays listed in 5.0 of the Personnel Policy will be
paid to the City Clerk and Deputy Clerk, equal to 6 hours at
straight time in 1983.
VOTING FOR: McAllister, Schwab, Vail
ABSTAINED: Peltier
Motion Carried.
MOTION: Peltier made motion, Schwab seconded, to grant Mary Ann Creager, Carole
LaBelle, and LuAnn Prachar a 50G/hour increase in salaries effective
January 1 , 1984.
All aye. Motion Carried.
MOTION: Vail made motion, Schwab seconded, that the Mayor be authorized to execute
the engagement letter for the 1983 audit.
All aye. Motion Carried.
MOTION: Peltier made motion, Vail seconded, to adjourn at 10:30 PM.
