HomeMy WebLinkAbout1998.10.05 ORD 1998-328ORDINANCE 1998-328 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 20 OF THE HUGO CITY CODE ENTITLED "ADMINISTRATION" BY REDUCING MAYOR AND COUNCIL SALARIES The City Council of the City of Hugo, Washington County, Minnesota, does hereby ordain: Delete Article II, Subd. A, establishing the Mayor's salary, and insert the following in lieu thereof: Subd. A. Mayor. The Mayor shall receive $75.00 per meeting, payable quarterly, for attendance at all duly called regular, special, and emergency meetings of the City Council at which a quorum is present. 2. Delete Article II, Subd. B, establishing Council member salaries, and insert the following in lieu thereof: Subd. B. Council Member. Each Council member shall receive $60.00 per meeting, payable quarterly, for attendance at all duly called regular, special, and emergency meetings of the City Council at which a quorum is present. 3. Subd. G. Effective Date. The provisions of this ordinance shall be effective January 1, 1999. Upon roll call, the following members voting AYE: Warren Arcand, Debra Barnes, Andrew Goiffon, James Leroux, Fran Miron Voting NAY: NONE Whereupon said ordinance was declared passed adopted this 5th day of October, 1998.
