AN ORDINANCE AMENDING HUGO CITY CODE CHAPTER 30
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS :
Sec . 1 Hugo City Code Sections :
- 30 . 1, subdivision titled "Premises ; " and,
- 30 . 6 titled " Implied Consent for Entry; " and,
- 30 . 15 titled "Cruelty, "
are hereby repealed in their entirety.
Sec . 2 Hugo City Code Section 30 . 19 (b) is hereby amended by
repealing the existing subparagraph (b) in its entirety
and replacing it with the following:
" (b) In the case where any dog has been impounded
whose rabies vaccination and dog license are
not current, said dog shall not be released
unless the owner first obtains a City dog
license and provides written evidence, from a
licensed veterinarian, that arrangements have
been made to have the dog vaccinated upon its
release . Any written evidence submitted
pursuant to this provision shall be deemed
inadmissible in any criminal court action
against the owner of the dog. "
Sec . 3 Effective Date .
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and publication according to law.
WHEREUPON, said Ordinance was declared passed and adopted this
3rd day of September , 1996 .
