ORDINANCE 95-298
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 120 OF THE HUGO CITY CODE
REGULATING THE LICENSING, COLLECTION, AND DISPOSAL
OF GARBAGE, OTHER REFUSE, RECYCLABLES, AND YARD WASTE
BY INCREASING THE NUMBER OF HAULERS ALLOWED TO
OPERATE WITHIN CITY FROM SIX TO SEVEN
The City Council of the City of Hugo, Minnesota, does hereby ordain : 1
Section 120-8 Solid Waste Collection License is hereby amended to read as
follows:
No person shall collect MSW from residences within the City without first
securing a license from the City . The City Council , in the interest of
maintaining healthful and sanitary conditions in the City , as well as to
protect the public infrastructure, hereby reserves the right to limit the
number of licenses to seven .
EFFECTIVE. This ordinance shall become effective from and after its
adoption and publication according to law.
Upon roll call , members voting AYE: Debra Barnes, Andrew Goiffon , Marvin
LaValle, Jim Leroux , Fran Miron
Voting NAY: NONE
Whereupon said Ordinance was declared passed and adopted this 15th day of
May , 1995.
