AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 290 OF THE HUGO CITY CODE ENTITLED
"SUBDIVISION OF PROPERTY' BY CHANGING THE STREET DESIGN STANDARDS FOR
NEW DEVELOPMENT IN THE COMMUNITY.
The City Council of the City of Hugo, Washington County, Minnesota
does hereby ordain:
1. Chapter 290-11, Subd. B is hereby deleted in its entirety and
replaced with the following provisions:
Subd. B STREETS SIDEWALKS AND BRIDGES
(1) . All streets, sidewalks, and bridges constructed for public
use as part of a subdivision of property, and in the development
and redevelopment of property, shall meet the standards established
in Chapter 280 of the Hugo City Code.
(2) . The City Engineer shall have such discretion as is necessary
in interpreting the regulations found in Chapter 280 so as to
insure these facilities provide for the safe conveyance of the
public, and are not an undue maintenance expense to the City.
2. EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall become effective from and
after its adoption and publication.
Upon roll call, the following Council members voting AYE: Barnes,
Goiffon, LaValle, Leroux, Miron.
Voting NAY: None
Whereupon said ordinance was declared passed and adopted this 15th day
of May , 1995 .
