HomeMy WebLinkAbout1989.09.14 ORD 1989-261.0 ORDINANCE 1989-261 -.` AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 40 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE ENTITLED "BUILDINGS AND CONSTRUCTION", IN ARTICLE III, SECTION 40-12, ` ENTITLED "USES PROHIBITED AND EXCEPTIONS" TO DELETE REFERENCES TO , TRANSIENT HOUSE AND WATCHMAN'S QUARTERS AND TO ESTABLISH REQUIREMENTS FOR MOBILE HOME/MANUFACTURED HOMES. The City Council of the City of Hugo, Washington County, Minnesota, hereby ordains: 1. Delete Article III, 40-12, Subd. A entitled "Transient house" in its entirety and insert the following in lieu thereof: Subd. A. Requirements for Mobile Homes/Manufactured Homes. The City Council, at its discretion, may issue permits subject to reasonable conditions, to property owners for the use or occupancy of- mobile fmobile homes/manufactured housing as a principal use in zoning districts allowing residential use outside of approved mobile home parks. All such housing shall be constructed in compliance with State Building Codes, be a minimum of 960 square feet in size, be a minimum of 22' in width, be constructed on a permanent foundation, be connected to an approved water and sewer system, and meet all setback requirements and minimum lot sizes as specified for the zoning district where located. 2. Delete Article III, 40-12. Subd. E entitled "Watchman's quarters" in its entirety. 3' Except as amended herein, Chapter 40 shall remain in full force and effect. 4. This ordinance shall be effective from and after its adoption and publication.
