Home My WebLink About1972.09.11 ORD 1972-109ORDINANCE NUMBER 1()q AN ORDINANCE INCORPORATING BY REFERENCE SPECIFIED SECTIONS OF THE MINNESOTA CRIMINAL CODE OF 1963, AS AMENDED, DEFINING CERTAIN MISDEMEANORS. The Village Council of the Village of Hugo hereby ordains: Section 1. INCORPORATION BY REFERENCE - SPECIFIED SECTIONS OF THE MINNESOTA CRIMINAL CODE, AS AMENDED. The following sections of the Criminal Code of 1963, being Minnesota Statutes 609.01 et seq., (Laws 1963, Chapter 753) and all amendments and revisions to said sections, are hereby adopted and incorporated by reference as an Ordinance of the Village of Hugo; and the provisions thereof thus incorporated shall be as much a part of this Ordinance as if they had been set out herein in full: (1) Minnesota Statutes Section 609.22 - Assault; (2) Minnesota Statutes Section 609.34 - Fornication; (3) Minnesota Statutes Section 609.40 - Flags; (4) Minnesota Statutes Section 609.52 - Theft, where the value of the property or services is $100.00 or less; (5) Minnesota Statutes Section 609.535 - Issuance of Worthless Check; (6) Minnesota Statutes Section 609.545 - Mis-Using Credit Card to secure services; (7) Minnesota Statutes Section 609.565(2) - Simple Arson; (8) Minnesota Statutes Section 609.575 - Negligent Fires; (9) Minnesota Statutes Section 609.595, Subd. 2 - Damage to Property; (10) Minnesota Statutes Section 609.605 - Trespasses and other acts; (11) Minnesota Statutes Section 609.66 - Dangerous Weapons; (12) Minnesota Statutes Section 609.675 - Exposure of unused refrigerator or container to children; (13) Minnesota Statutes Section 609.68 - Unlawful deposit of Garbage, Litter, or Like; (14) Minnesota Statutes Section 609.705 - Unlawful assembly; (15) Minnesota Statutes Section 609.715 - Presence at unlawful assembly; (16) Minnesota Statutes.Section 609.72 -Disorderly Conduct; Attempted.Suicide; (17) Minnesota Statutes Section 609.725 - Vagrancy; (18) Minnesota Statutes Section 609.735 - Concealing Identity; (19) Minnesota Statutes Section 609.755 - Acts of or relating to Gambling. Section 2. COPIES OF CRIMINAL CODE. Three copies of the Criminal Code of 1963, as amended, shall be marked by the Village Clerk as official copies and filed for use and examination by the public in the office of the Village Clerk. Section 3. PENALTIES. Any person, firm, or corporation violating any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not more than three hundred ($300.00) Dollars or by imprisonment in the county jail for not more than ninety days, or both. Section 4. REPEAL OF EXISTING ORDINANCE. Oneka Ordinance Number 4, entitled "Code Of 1963, By Reference, Defining Certain Misdemeanors And Prescribing A Penalty For Violation Thereof", passed the 11th day of January, 1965, together with any other Ordinance, or portion thereof, that is in conflict with any provision of this Ordinance, are hereby repealed. Section 5. EFFECTIVE DATE. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication. Passed and approved this 11 day of September, 1972. (6) Said newspaper files a copy of each issue immediately with the State Historical Society. (7) Said newspaper has complied with all the foregoing conditions for at least two years preceding the day or dates of publi- cation mentioned below.
