AN ORDINANCE REPEALING AN ORDINANCE TO PROTECT PUBLIC PEACE AND
MORALS BY REGULATING THE LICENSING OF PUBLIC DANCES AND PUBLIC
DANCE HALLS AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATION THEREOF,
The City Council of the City of Hugo hereby ordains:
Section 1. REPEAL OF EXISTING ORDINANCE. Ordinance No.
A-31, entitled "An Ordinance To Protect Public Peace And Morals By
Regulating And Licensing Public Dances And Public Dance Halls And
Providing A Penalty For Violation Thereof", passed the 6th day of
December, 1926, is hereby repealed effective as hereinafter set
forth.
Section 2. EFFECTIVE DATE. This Ordinance shall take
effect and be in force from and after December 31, 1974, subject to
passage and publication as required by lacy prior to that time.
Section 3. EXISTING PERMITS. All existing permits in
existence under the Ordinance herein repealed shall remain in full
force and effect until the Effective Date of this Ordinance, and
there shall be no pro -rated refund of any permit fees heretofore
collected.
Adopted by the City Council this day of November,
1974.
