ORDINANCE 246
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 320 OF THE HUGO CITY CODE
ENTITLED "ZONING" BY AMENDING THE ZONING DISTRICT CLASSI-
FICATION OF THE DESCRIBED REAL PROPERTY.
The City Council of the City of Hugo Washington County, Minnesota,
hereby ordains: '
The zoning classification of the real property described as follows,
to-wit:
Part of the SE 1/4 of Section 5, T31N, R21W, desribed as follows:
Commencing at the East quarter corner of Section 5 and South along the
East line of Section 5, a distance of 2079.04 feet to the point of
beginning ; thence continuing South a distance of 595 feet more or less
to the SE 1/4 of Section 5, thence westerly toward the South line of
Section 5 a distance of 571 feet; thence northerly deflecting 90' to
the right, a distance of 263 feet; thence westerly 90' to the left a
distance of 208.9 feet to the easterly right-of-way line of Minnesota
Highway No. 61 ; thence northerly along said easterly right-of-way line
a distance of 308 feet more or less to the point of intersection with
a line drawn through the point of beginning and parallel with the
North line of Section 5; thence easterly along said parallel line a
distance of 766.2 feet more or less to the point of beginning 8.9
acres more or less including any right-of-way existing and adjacent to
Minnesota Highway No. 61 to the parcel right-of-way line thereof
shall be changed from its existing classification in the Agriculture
District to a classification in the Retail Business District.
The official zoning map on file in the office of the city clerk shall
be corrected and amended to show the changes in zoning district boundaries
and the changes in the zoning district classification for the above
described property as set forth in this ordinance.
EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall become effective from and after
its adoption and publication .
Upon roll call the following members voted AYE: Theodora Peltier, Arthur
Potts, Robert Olson , Deane Vail , George Atkinson
Upon roll call the following members voted NAY: NONE
