Home My WebLink About1982.07.19 ORD 1982-186 - ! 4 ORDINANCE 186 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 320 OF THE HUGO CITY CODE ENTITLED "ZONING" TO PROVIDE REGULATION OF EXTERIOR BUILDING MATERIALS USED ON ACCESSORY BUILDINGS IN SFE AND SFU ZONES. The City Council of the City of Hugo, Washington County, Minnesota hereby ordains: 1 . In Section 320-4, Subdivision G(2) , entitled "Permitted Accessory Uses" , delete all and insert the following: "Keeping of not more than four (4) domestic animals; home occupations meeting criteria; guest homes; private garages; open, off-street parking space for one and two-family residences; residential waterfront uses; recreation equipment; decorative landscape features such as statues , 1 rocks, benches, planting and rdlection pools; and swimming pools; farm building (s) and accessory storage not exceeding 640 square feet constructed so that the exterior shall be covered using materials of a similar type as the residence, provided an approved farm/accessory building site plan meeting requirements of 320-5, Subd. I is first submitted and approved for building size of less than 640 square feet." 2. In Section 320-4, Subdivision G(3) , entitled "Special Uses," add after "in excess of 640 square feet." , the following: "constructed so that the exterior shall be constructed using materials of a similar type as the residence." 3. In Section 320-4, Subdivision H(2) , entitled "Permitted Accessory Uses" , add after "accessory storage not exceeding 260 square feet.", the fol- lowing: "provided that accessory buildings will be of a similar type as the residence." 4. In Section 320-4, Subdivision H(3) , entitled "Speical Uses" , add after "accessory storage in excess of 260 square feet.", the following: "provided that accessory buildings shall be constructed so that the exterior of the buildings will be of a similar type as the residence." EFFECTIVE DATE. This Ordinance becomes effective upon its passage and publication according to law and upon becoming effective shall be incorporated in the City Code.
