ORDINANCE N0.1977-140
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 262 OF THE HUGO CITY CODE, ENTITLED,
"SEWER SYSTEM" TO CLARIFY THE DESIGNATION OF DESIGNATED FUNDS .
The City Council of the City of Hugo, hereby ordains:
Delete Section 262-16, entitled "Sewer Fund" , in its
and insert in lieu thereof the following:
"262-16. SEWER FUND. All funds received from the
collection of assessments and Residential Equivalent
Charge (REC'S) shall be deposited by the City
Treasurer or other designated person, within seven
(7) days after receipt thereof, and kept by him as
a separate fund which shall be known as the Sanitary
Sewer Sinking Fund. These funds shall be used for
retirement of indebtedness incurred for the construct-
ion of the Sanitary Sewer System. Connection charges
and sewage use charges shall be deposited by the City
Treasurer, or other designatederson, into the
Utilities Fund (sewer and water) . These funds shall
be used for payment of costs of operation, and main-
tenance of the Sanitary Sewer System and Water System
in the City of Hugo."
The official copies of the Hugo City Code shall be
corrected reflect the within changes upon passage
and publication of this Ordinance.
