ORDINANCE NO. / V7
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 40 OF THE HUGO CITY CODE
ENTITLED "BUILDING & CONSTRUCTION" MODIFYING CERTAIN PERMIT FEES.
The City Council of the City of Hugo, Washington County,
Minnesota, hereby ordains:
1. In section 3 , entitled "Fees" subdivision G, entitled
"Fee Schedules" , subparagraph (1) entitled "Building Permit Fees" ,
and the table therein contained, in the column entitled "Valuation" ,
delete the minimum valuation $250. 00, and insert in lieu thereof
the minimum valuation of $500. 00.
2. In section 3G, entitled "Fee Schedules"
and subparagraph (3) , entitled "Heating and Appliance Inspection
Fees" delete subparagarphs (a) through (f) , both inclusive, and
insert in lieu thereof the following -
(a) Gas or Oil Burner Equipment - 1st 100, 000 BTUs -
$7. 50; each additional 100, 000 BTUs - $1 . 25.
(b) Warm Air or Hot Water Systems - 1st 200, 000 BTUs -
$15. 00; each additional 100, 000 BTUs - $2. 00.
(c) Alteration, Burner Equipment - 1st $500 - $5. 00;
Conversion - gas & oil - $7. 50; Piping - $5. 00.
(d) Appliances (Range, etc. ) - $5. 00.
(e) Gas Unit Heaters - $7 . 50.
(f) Incinerators - Incinerator, residential - $5. 00;
Incinerator, piping - $5. 00.
(g) Electric Heating - 1st 100, 000 BTUs - $7 . 50.
(h) Electric Water Heater - $7. 50.
(i) Hot Water Heating Systems - 1st 200, 000 BTUs -
$22. 50.
(j) Pool Heaters - $22. 50.
3. The official copies of the Hugo City Code shall be
corrected to reflect the within changes upon adoption and
publication of this Ordinance.
4. This Ordinance shall be effective from and after its
adoption and publication.
