a SPECIAL BUDGET MEETING
TINE: 7:20 P.M.
PRESENT: Lease, Leroux, Smith and Schletty
ABSENT: LaValle
ADDITIONAL ITEMS ON THE AGENDA:
DEPUTY CLERK/PLANNING COMMISSION SECRETARY HIRING:
Dan Spitzer introduced Mary Ann Creager, 12203 Ingersoll Ave. , No.
who had submitted her application for the positions. He felt she qualified
for the Planning Commission Secretary and recommended the hiring of her.
City Council interviewed her and stated evening meeting would be necessary
to take minutes, a possible 30 hour a week job.
MOTION: Lease made motion, seconded by Leroux to hire Mary Ann Creager
for the Deputy Clerks/Planning Commission Secy' job at a
possible thirty (30) hour a week job at $3.00 an hour, to be
effective September 1 , 1976.
VOTING FOR: Lease, Leroux, Smith and Schletty
MOTION CARRIED
RIERMANN AND BUSHMANN REQUESTS: Tabled until the meeting of September 7,
1976 at which time the building inspector would be available for questioning.
BUDGET: Council reviewed the individual budgets submitted. The position
of maintenance/utility man was discussed. There is no
assurance that the C.E.T.A. program will be extended and
the Council wanted to assure the present utility man/
George Koland that he would be retained as a permanent
employee of the city. Council suggested a budget of $15,000
for the salary, including the fringe benefits.
There is an increase of $14,348.91 over last years however the Deseased
Tree Control Program is no longer an outside levy.
A Special additional budget meeting was set for September 13, 1976 at
7:00 P.M. at City Hall.
MOTION: Lease made motion, Smith seconded to adjourn the Special
Budget Meeting.
VOTING FOR: Lease, Leroux, Smith and Schletty
