PRESENT: Lease, Leroux and Smith ABSENT: Schletty, LaValle Special meeting was called to further discuss the following storm sewer assessments: Huebl, Frank 20-2550 $1 ,059.47 21 ,189.45 sq. ft. Seifert, Richard K. 135-8600 $1 ,679.45 33,589 sq. ft. MOTION: Smith made motion, Leroux seconded to change the assessment for Frank Huebl, parcel 20-2550 from $1 ,059.47 assessed on 21 ,189.45 sq. ft. to $540.00 based on 10,800 sq. ft. VOTING FOR: Lease, Leroux and Smith MOTION CARRIED The Council after futher considering the Seifert parcel, was satisified that the assessment was justifiable. Council LaValle arrived at 7:55 P.M. Treasurer Bernier had asked LaValle if he could invest in passbook saving from the storm sewer sinking fund. MOTION: Lease made motion, Leroux seconded to authorize treasurer to invest $17,000 in passbook savings from the Storm Sewer Sink- ing Fund to cover interest payments in 1978. VOTING FOR: Lease, Leroux and Smith and LaValle. MOTION CARRIED Mayor Lease stated he received a call from Grant Township pertaining to the one way street being developed in Grant Township. If the one way street would be developed, the maintenance would fall on the city of Hugo. Mayor Lease instructed the clerk to send a letter to Grant Township relating this problem and to suggest a second outlet be developed over the Soo Line Railroad tracks.
