The Planning Comission decided to not make a recommendation to the City Cou_ lci[
regarding the proposed amounts to be spent in relation to the Land Plannin,_;
ct. The.;. felt t the'T ti'ad no input into these figures, and did not know what
they st0Od for. LaValle felt that "r. .lhret was well—aware of the status of

Johnson submitted his monthly report. Grant Township has failed to address
itself to the hoa 1 i aintenance 1%greenent as provided by Johnson.

5 .4 Grace :Development — Extension of sewer
Grace Jackson was present and stated that there will be some revisions made in
their Valley View 2nd 2Ad ;ition, and, therefore, will have to replat. Spitzer
stated he would like to see some plans at City flail. Permission will have to be
obtained from T7etro ':Taste Control Commission (design only) and lashington
County, if work is to be done by a private contractor. Howard k_uusisto was
instructed to contact 'lashinton County , and Grace Jackson was told to have
a contact drawn up for reviewal by the city attorney.

C.4 BuildingInspector
r. Crever submitted his monthly report. Schietty and Crever are to inspect
the new driveways on the west side of Sunset Lake to see if they comply with
the Driveway Ordinance. yr. Vail and .1.-r. Crever inspected the site of the
Simpson complaint , and they could see no visible sign of a sewage problem.
"r. Crever is still trying; to contact the owner of the property. T. Crever
stated he would be on vacation the first two weeks of June.

?"r. . Richard Vail, Fire Chief, was present requesting authorization to make
purchases necessary for the Fire Department . He also questioned whether the
city paid the firemen to attend conventions and school. LaValle stated that
the city only paid for registration and mileage.

8.1 Discuss preliminary draft for improvements (Bald Ea7].e)
i. Kuusisto and the City Council reviewed the preliminary draft dated :?arch.,
1978. LaValle suggested that an informal meeting be held with the land owners
to find out their feelin ;s.
NOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Vail, that an informal public
hearing be held to discuss the proposed sanitary sewer and water:
main extension for Bald Eagle Lake, Oak Shore Park, and the
Bald E gle Industrial Park. The meeting will be held on T-ay
22 , 1978, Hugo Elementary School, at 7:00 PN.

passed the administered tests.
The clerk inquired about vacation time for CBT:'_ employees. LaVal] e stated that
no one Mets vacation unless they have worked for one year.
