Minutes of the proceedings of the SPECIAL MEETING of the
Hugo City Council of MAY 31 , 1979
The meeting was called to order by acting Mayor Spitzer at 7:19 PM, to
discuss the new police contract.
PRESENT: Spitzer, Irsfeld and Schletty
ABSENT: LaValle and Vail
CALL OUT: Police Chief to furnish the City Council with number and
duration of call outs since January 1 , 1978 by officer.
WORK WEEK: Police Chief to furnish the City Council with average
scheduled hours and average actual work since February 1 ,
1978 by Officer.
What is a reasonable picture of compensatory time off?
1 . Number of hours by officer.
2. Have we paid for any compensatory hours since
February 1 , 1978 iy officer.
3. Hours of court time by officer since February 1 ,
1978.
HEALTH
INSURANCE: City will check with various agencies to obtain information.
City Clerk to obtain some average costs of insurance pre-
miums in this area.
LIFE INS. : City Clerk furnish council the amount of premium and bene-
LONG TERM fits. City Clerk check with the City Attorney in regard
DISABILITY to the recent changes in the workmans compensation law.
SICK LEAVE: Number of sick days granted per officer since January 1 ,
1978 and accumulated number of days for each officer -
to be furnished by Police Chief.
MOTION: Irsfeld made motion seconded by Schletty to adjourn
meeting at 9:58.
