Hugo City Council of JULY 31 , 1979
The Meeting was called to order by Mayor LaValle at 7:10 P.M. , to
discuss the Police Contract.
PRESENT: LaValle, Irsfeld and Spitzer
ALSO: Charles Johnson, James Fure and John Jackson
ABSENT: Schletty and Vail
MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Irsfeld that Spitzer be
appointed temporary secretary.
VOTING FOR: LaValle, Irsfeld and Spitzer
MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Spitzer that Jim Fure be
appointed temporary acting Police Chief during Chief Barth's
period of illness. -
VOTING FOR: LaValle., Irsfeld and Spitzer
MOTION: LaValle made motion that Pure be authorized to employ, at
his discretion, Dave Woeltge, Mike Gibbs, Glen Reimer, and
Jerry Nelson, to assist in the execution of the duties of
the Police Department. Irsfeld seconded the motion.
VOTING FOR: LaValle, Irsfeld and Spitzer
FURE AND JACKSON LEFT AT 7:30
The terms of the proposed Police Contract were discussed.
MOTION: Irsfeld made motion that the Meetixg be adjourned at
9:35 P.M. Spitzer Seconded the motion.
VOTING FOR: All aye. Motion Carried
