Minutes of the Proceedings of the Special Meeting of the Hugo City
Council of August 27, 1979
The meeting was called to order by acting Mayor Spitzer at 7:20 P.M.
PRESENT: Vail, Irsfeld, Schletty and Spitzer
Larry Evans and Charles Johnson were also present.
MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Vail, to appoint Spitzer as
acting secretary.
All aye. MOtion Carried.
Police labor contract discussed. Tentative date for next negotiation was set for
September 13 at 7:00 PM. . Date will be confirmed on September 4th.
Engineer's report on Howard Moe's project was not available.
MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Schletty, to table the Howard Moe
matter until the meeting of September 4th.
All aye. Motion Carried.
Open Space meeting at Metro Council on August 28th. City Attorney is directed to
represent the city.
MOTION: Schletty made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, to adjourn at 8:38 P.M.
All aye. Motion Carried.
