MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE HUGO CITY
COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING OF April 22, 1980
The Special Meeting was held to review the Audit Report,
at 6:40 P.M.
PRESENT: Dan Spitzer, Deane Vail and Larry Irsfeld
ABSENT: Mayor LaValle and Howard Schletty
Don Anfinson from Anfinson, Hendrickson and Co. reviewed the
Audit Report for the Council. The Council pointed out that the
general fund expenditures were not compared to the budget that
the Council had established, and asked that Mr. Anfinson check with
his auditors and give a reply to the Council.
The auditors suggested some procedures be implemented to insure
internal control of the accounts. Further suggestions were made
as referenced in his letter with the Audit Reports. The Clerk
was requested to place the following items on the agenda of May 5,
1980:
1 . Consolidate the Savings Accounts
2. Establish Internal Accounting Procedures
3. Reply on Budget
MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Vail, to adjourn
at 8:30 P.M.
VOTING FOR: Spitzer, Vail and Irsfeld
MOTION CARRIED
The Clerk was directed to write to Mr. Eugene LaCasse regarding
that excavation work being done on his property, and request
his presence at the May 5th Meeting.
