MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF HUGO CITY COUNCIL (BOARD OF CANVAS)
November 6, 1980
The meeting was called to order by Irsfeld at 7:02 PM.
PRESENT: Irsfeld, Vail Schletty
ABSENT: LaValle and Spitzer
The Board of Canvas reviewed the tally sheet of votes cast and accepted as
submitted.
MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Schletty, to certify the tally
sheets of the city election held November 4, 1980, as presented
by the City Clerk.
VOTING FOR: Irsfeld, Vail, Schletty
MOTION CARRIED
MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Schletty, that Marvin LaValle is
duly elected Mayor for a two year term, as of 1/1/81 .
VOTING FOR: Irsfeld, Vail, Schletty
MOTION CARRIED
MOTION: Vail made motion, seconded by Schletty, that Larry Irsfeld is duly
elected Councilman, Ward II, for a four year term, as of 1/1/81 .
VOTING FOR: Vail and Schletty
ABSTAINED: Irsfeld
MOTION CARRIED
MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Schletty, that J. Michael McAllister
is duly elected Councilman-at-Large, for a four year term, as of 1/1/81 .
VOTING FOR: Irsfeld, Vail, Schletty
MOTION CARRIED
MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Schletty, to adjourn at 7:05 PM.
All aye. Motion Carried.
