June 30, 1982
The special meeting held in con junction with the Ordinance Committee was called to
order by Mayor LaValle at 7:58 PM.
PRESENT: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty Irsfeld
Charles Johnson, City Attorney - Tom Crever, Building Inspector
ORDINANCE COMMITTEE: Teddy Peltier, George Atkinson
MOTION: LaValle made motion, Irsfeld seconded, to designate Mike McAllister as acting
secretary.
All aye. Motion Carried.
Mr. Ramberg was present to discuss the problem with dumping potato peelings on the
LaCasse property. Mayor LaValle will write letters to the responsible parties.
There was general discussion of the Zoning Ordinance and Minnesota Statutes 1980,
Section 462.357. It was the concensus of the people present that the City should
not create a separate zoning district for manufactured housing, but should set
certain standards for all residential structures.
Attorney Johnson was instructed to prepare preliminary drafts of ordinance amendments
for public hearings and Council consideration.
MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, Schletty seconded, to adjourn at 9:33 PM.
