MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL
November 1 , 1982
The meeting was called to order by acting Mayor, Larry Irsfeld, at 7:02 PM.
PRESENT: McAllister, Schletty, Irsfeld, Vail

3.0 APPROVAL OF MINUTES
MOTION: Schletty made mot ion, Vail seconded, to approve the minutes of October 18,
1982, as submitted.
All aye. Motion Carried.
4.0 APPROVAL OF MINUTES
MOTION: McAllister made motion, Vail seconded, to approve the General Claims for
November 1 , 1982, as submitted.
All aye. Motion Carried..
MOTION: Vail made motion, Schletty seconded, to approve the claims:: of November 1 ,
1982, as submitted.
All aye. Motion Carried.
5.0 PETITIONS, REQUESTS, COMMUNICATIONS & LICENSES
5.1 John Distler - Site Plan Aproval
Mr. Distler, owner of 20 acres located at 10100 170th Street, is proposing the con-
struction of a 40 x 60 pole barn for his personal use. The property is located in
the AG district.
MOTION: Schletty made motion, Vail seconded, to approve the Site Plan for John
Distler, 10100 170th Street, for the construction of a 40 x 60 pole barn
for his personal use, as per the submitted site plan.
All Aye. Motion Carried.
5.2 Mary Celske - Site Plan AEproval
MS. Ce lske, owner of 19 acres located in Section 8 (165th and Fenway) is pro-
posing the construction of a 26 x 48 pole building for storage of hay for her
horses. Ms. Celske has also submitted an application for the construction of
her house.
MOTION: McAllister made motion, Schletty seconded, to approve the Site Plan for
Mary Celske, for the construction of a 26 x 48 pole building for her per-
sonal use only, as per the submitted site plan.

5.3 Roy Shoquist - Land Division
Mr. Shoquist, fee owner, along with his brother David, was present to discuss the
proposed division of 35 acres into two parcels (20 acres and 15 acres) . The land
lies within the AG district. The owner of Parcel B will gain access to the pro-
perty via 169th Street which belongs to May Township, and an easement across the
southeast corner of Parcel A. The easement will be private and maintained by
the property owners.
MOTION: McAllister made motion, Schletty seconded, to approve the Land Division
for Marc and David Shoquist to divide 35 acres into two parcels (20
acres and 15 acres) per the survey submitted and subject to the fol-
lowing:
1 . Proof being submitted to the Clerk's office of approval by the
May Township Board.
2. Review of the private easement agreement by Hugo's city attorney.
3. Proof that 169th Street is indeed a public access to Parcel A.
All aye. Motion Carried.
5.4 Larry Ehret - Land Division
Mr. Ehret is proposing the sale of 10 acres at Keystone and 152nd Street. The
land lies within the AG district and has met all the requirements for Land Division.
MOTION: Vail made motion, McAllister seconded, to approve the Land Division for
Larry Ehret for the sale of 10 acres at 152nd Street and Keystone, per
the survey submitted.

MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, McAllister seconded, to set the Board of Canvas
for November 3, 1982, at 6:00 PM, Hugo City Hall.
