MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF HUGO CITY COUNCIL (BOARD OF CANVAS)
November 4, 1982
The meeting was called to order by Mayor LaValle at 6:20 PM.
PRESENT: LaValle, Schletty, Vail
ABSENT: McAllister, Irsfeld
The Board of Canvas reviewed the tally sheet of votes cast and accepted as submitted.
MOTION: LaValle made mot ion, Vail seconded, to certify the tally sheet of the
City Election held November 2, 1982, as presented by the City Clerk.
All aye. Motion Carried.
MOTION: LaValle made motion, Schletty seconded, that J. Michael McAllister is
duly elected. Mayor for a two year term commencing 1/1/83.
All aye. Motion Carried.
MOTION: LaValle made motion, Schletty seconded, that Deane Vail is duly elected
Councilman, Ward 1 , for a four year term commencing 1/1/83.
VOTING FOR: LaValle, Schletty
ABSTAINED: Vail
Motion Carried.
MOTION: LaValle made motion, Vail seconded, that Dean Atkinson is duly elected
Councilman, Ward 2, to fill the unexpired term of Larry Irsfeld. Term
to commence January 1 , 1983 and terminate December 31 , 1984.
All aye. Motion Carried.
MOTION: LaValle made motion, Schletty seconded, that Charles Schwab is duly elected
Councilman, Ward 3, for a four year term commencing 1/1/83.
All aye. Motion Carried.
MOTION: LaValle made motion, Vail seconded, to adjourn at 6:25 PM.
All aye. Motion Carried.
