A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SUBMISSION OF CAPITAL BUDGET REQUESTS
FOR STORMWATER REUSE PROJECTS AND RAILROAD TRACK REPAIR PROJECT
WHEREAS,the process of developing the capital budget begins in odd-numbered years for
submission to the legislative session in January the following year; and,
WHEREAS,Minnesota Management and Budget department accepted capital budget requests for
consideration during the 2016 Legislative Session; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Hugo has submitted two requests for projects ranked in the following order:
1. Stormwater reuse for irrigation in the Water's Edge development,CSAH8 median and
boulevard,and Lions Park
2. Short line freight railway track repair for rail service in the Bald Eagle Industrial Park; and,
WHEREAS,Governor Dayton's Strategic Capital Budget will be submitted to the Legislature by
January 15,2016;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF HUGO that the Hugo
City Council does hereby agree to the ranking of the capital budget requests and their submittal to
Minnesota Management and Budget for consideration in the 2016 Legislative Session.
Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted this 19th day of October,2015.
