A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPLICATION FOR THE MET
COUNCIL WATER EFFICIENCY GRANT AND ADDITIONAL COUNTY
FUNDS.
WHEREAS,the Metropolitan Council is accepting applications for the Water Efficiency
Grant.
WHEREAS,Washington County is offering additional financial support for cities who
apply for the Met Council Water Efficiency Grant.
WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Hugo is interested in applying for the Met
Council Water Efficiency Grant and additional County funds for water conservation and
efficiency;
WHEREAS,the City of Hugo will use these funds for the purpose of implementing a
program to provide rebates to residents and businesses who purchase water efficient
appliances.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF HUGO,WASHINGTON COUNTY,MINNESOTA,that it should and
hereby does request to support the application for the Met Council Water Efficiency
Grant and additional County funds for the purpose of water conservation and efficiency.
