Parks and Recreation Commission Meeting

Present: Parks Commission: Kitty Cheesebrow, Roger Clarke, Charles Kirk, Pete Pedersen,
Steven Lacher, Dan Gabrielli and Jennifer May.
Staff Chris Petree, Public Works Director.
Absent: Kelly Bailly.
I. Approve Minutes From June 8, 2005 Meeting
May made a motion, Pedersen seconded to approve the minutes from the June 8, 2005 Parks
Commission meeting.
All Aye. Motion Carried.
II. City Tour
The following sites were visited by the Parks Commission. Public Works Director Chris
Petree provided an overview of each site during the tour. Commission members discussed
neighborhood access to current parks and trails, and reviewed future needs in the city.
A. Beaver Ponds Park
B. Rice Lake Centre
C. Diamond Point East Park
D. Oneka Lake Park
E. Frog Hollow Park
F. Oneka Elementary School Site
G. Val Jean Park
H. 105 Acre Park near Fable Hill
I. Tower #2 Park
