Parks and Recreation Commission Meeting
October 18, 2006

Park Tour (Meet at City Hall)
Meeting Chair: Roger Clarke
Minutes By: Chris Petree
Present: Parks Commission: Roger Clarke, Pete Pedersen, Jennifer May and Rachel Berger.
City Council: Chuck Haas and Frank Puleo.
Staff Chris Petree, Public Works Director.
Absent: Charles Kirk, Dan Gabrielli and Kelly Bailly.
I. Approve Minutes From September 13, 2006 Meeting
Pedersen made a motion, May seconded, to approve the minutes from the September 13, 2006
Parks Commission meeting.
All Aye. Motion Carried.
II. Appointment of Roger Clarke as Parks Commission Chair
Public Works Director Chris Petree introduced Roger Clarke as the new Parks Commission
Chair. Mr. Clarke was appointed to the Chair position by the City Council at their October 2,
2006 meeting.
III. Park Tour Agenda
Public Works Director Chris Petree conducted a tour of the following sites and provided an
overview of each site/project.
4:00pm- Meet at Hugo City Hall
4:10pm- Val Jean Park
4:25pm- Beaver Ponds Park
4:40pm- Diamond Point Park
5:10pm- Oneka Lake Park
5:20pm- Frog Hollow Park
5:30pm- Oneka Elementary School Gymnasium/Playground
6:00pm- Return to City Hall & Adjourn Meeting
