Taylor called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
I. Approval of Minutes from September Meeting
Berger made a motion, Strub seconded to approve the minutes of the October 10, 2012 Parks
Commission meeting.
All Aye. Motion Carried.
II. Trail Plan Review
Shayla Syverson, Parks Planner gave a presentation on the current trail projects and requested
additional needed trails connections be identified for future Commission discussion.
Active trail development projects include the Prarie Village development (north of Oneka
Elementary School, the Hardwood Creek Regional Trial, 140th Street and 147th Street.
Parks Commission discussion included possible future trails along Elmcrest Avenue, County
Road 7, along 130th, and a connection between 127th to Goodview.
VII. Recreation Program Updates
Shayla Syverson, Parks Planner announced the dates of upcoming winter programs.

IV. Holiday Party Invitation
Members of the Parks Commission were invited to the annual Holiday Party to be held on
December 6, 2012.
V. Other
Scott Anderson, Public Works Director provided an update on the progress of the Hockey Rink
at the Hugo Elementary School. Discussion will continue at future Parks Commission meetings.

Berger made a motion, Birch seconded to adjourn the meeting at 8:26 pm.
