HUGO BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS AND APPEALS
June 25, 2009
Chairperson Schumann called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
PRESENT: Schumann, Weidt, Puleo
ABSENT: None
ALSO PRESENT: Bryan Bear, Community Development Director (CDD)
Rachel Simone, Associate Planner
Approval of Minutes — December 11, 2008
Schumann made motion, Weidt seconded, to approve the minutes for December 11, 2008 as
presented.
All Ayes. Motion carried.
Slowikowski- Variance request from side yard setback
Rachel Simone, the Associate Planner, described the application to the Board of Zoning. The
applicant is asking for a variance from the side yard setback requirements to allow construction
of a patio deck to be installed 2 feet from the south property line. It was in staffs opinion that the
variance request met all of the requirements necessary to approve the variance.
The applicant explained the hardships to the Board.
Schumann opened the public hearing. No one spoke at the public hearing.
Weidt made a motion, seconded by Schumann to approve the variance request.
All aye. Motion carried.

Weidt made motion, Schumann seconded, to adjourn.
All Ayes. Motion carried.
