CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />LIS am 1001mill 1011011 <br />WHEREAS, the County intends to reconstruct and realign County State Aid Highway 15 <br />(Manning Avenue) and County State Aid Highway 14 (Stillwater Boulevard) located in the City <br />of Lake Elmo; and <br />WHEREAS, iterns included in the project require City cost participation in general <br />accordance with "Washington County Cost Participation Policy #8001 for Cooperative Highway <br />Improvement Projects"; and <br />WHEREAS, the County wishes to transfer and the City wishes to accept jurisdictional <br />control of a segment of Old CSAH 14 to be known as Stillwater Way under the terms and <br />conditions of the Jurisdictional Transfer Agreement; and <br />WHEREAS, a cooperative effort between the City and County is the appropriate method <br />to facilitate the project cost sharing, jurisdictional transfer, and facilitate the maintenance of the <br />items constructed by the Project; and <br />WHEREAS, this Agreement is made pursuant to statutory authority contained in <br />Minnesota Statute 162.17 sub. I and Minnesota Statute 471.59. <br />1, That Cooperative Agreement 11400 for the construction costs of County State Aid <br />Highway 15 and 14, between the City of Lake Elmo and Washington County, is hereby <br />approved and the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized to execute the <br />agreement on behalf of the City of Lake Elmo. <br />2. That Cooperative Agreement 11522 for the Jurisdictional Transfer of a segment of Old <br />CSAH 14, between the City of Lake Elmo and Washington County, is hereby approved <br />and the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized to execute the agreement on <br />behalf of the City of Lake Eli -no. <br />3. That Cooperative Maintenance Agreement 11523 between the City of Lake Elmo and <br />Washington County is hereby approved and the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby <br />authorized execute the agreement on behalf of the City of Lake Elmo. <br />
