This is routine procedure. <br /> <br /> <br />ADDITIONAL INFORMATION <br /> <br />Minnesota Rules Chapter 169.14 subd. 2. (7) allows a city to adopt a 25 mph speed limit for <br />residential roadways. <br /> <br />In March, 2005, the city adopted a policy for establishing 25 mph speed limits within specific <br />neighborhood areas (Resolution No. 2003-015). <br /> <br />In accordance with city policy, it is recommended that the recently constructed developments be <br />posted at 25 mph speed limits. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />Suggested motion for consideration: <br /> <br />Move to adopt ordinance number 97-192, establishing a 25 mph speed limit for the new <br />developments as identified on the attached list. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br /> <br />1. List of developments and streets to be posted 25 mph speed limit. <br /> <br />
