CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-17 <br />A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE RECOMMENDATION <br />OF THE CSAH13 STUDY COMMITTEE <br />FOR SHORT AND LONG TERM IMPROVEMENTS TO THE ROADWAY <br />WHEREAS, at the request of the Tri-Lakes Association, <br />Washington County Public Works Department organized the <br />formation of a committee to study improvements to CSAH13; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lake Elmo supported the committee <br />formation and designated a City Council, staff member, and <br />resident to represent the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the recommendation of the study committee is <br />consistent, in part, with the city's trail system plan which <br />identifies a bikeway, pedway along CSAH13; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lake Elmo will amend its trail <br />system plan to coincide with the recommendation of the study <br />committee. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Lake Elmo City <br />Council supports the recommendation of the CSAH13 Study <br />Committee for the provision by Washington County of four (4) <br />foot paved shoulders from TH5 to TH36 as a short term <br />solution, and rebuilding CSAH13 from TH5 to 50th Street <br />North as a long-term solution, with the opportunity to <br />provide for a separated trail through this segment. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Lake Elmo <br />supports the inclusion of CSAH13 from Stillwater Boulevard <br />to TH5 with the proposed improvements. <br />ADOPTED by the Lake Elmo <br />-,._City Council this 18th day of <br />August, 1992. <br />(J� <br />i5-a-vid J <br />ATTEST: <br />Mary KtieffneL /City Administrator <br />
