CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />COUNTY OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO, 94-8 <br />1. WHEREAS, Michael Leroy Hilyar and Cheryl Hilyar are the <br />owners of property located at 8961 37th Street North, Lake Elmo, <br />Minnesota 55042, which is legally described as: <br />Lot I & 2, Kenridge Addition, Commonly known as <br />8961 37th Street, Lake Elmo, MN 55042 <br />(37405-2250) <br />2. WHEREAS, the City of Lake Elmo has received complaints <br />from adjoining property owners regarding the type and amount of <br />exterior storage on the Hilyar Property; <br />3. WHEREAS, the City of Lake Elmo Building Inspector has <br />inspected the Hilyar Property and has observed the following types <br />of materials being stored on the outside of the home: <br />A. Miscellaneous unlicensed and inoperable vehicles; <br />B. Containers of what appear to be recyclable cans, bottles <br />and paper; <br />C. Boxes; <br />D. Cardboard; <br />E. Miscellaneous auto parts; <br />F. Pieces of wood; <br />G. Building materials (doors); and <br />Ha Junk and debris. <br />4. WHEREAS, such items are clearly visible from adjoining <br />property and the public street; <br />5. WHEREAS, the unscreened exterior storage of such items is <br />in violation of the Lake Elmo City Code; <br />6, WHEREAS, the City has continuously since August of 1986 <br />advised Mr. and Mrs. Hilyar to clean up their property and <br />otherwise comply with the City's regulations; <br />
