CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99-22 <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO, 98 -2 <br />APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT AND FINAL OPEN SPACE DEVELOPMENT PLAN OF <br />PRAIRIE HAMLET <br />WHEREAS, the Lake Elmo City Council approved the Final Plat of Prairie Hamlet on January 6, <br />1998, <br />WHEREAS, the Lake Elmo Planning Commission held a public hearing on March 8, 1999 to <br />consider the amendment of the Prairie Hamlet OP Development Stage Plan/Plat and Final Stage Plan /Plat <br />to: <br />1. Replat Lot 2 and. 3, Block 3; and Lots 1 &2, Block 1 of Prairie Hamlet into 8 Single .Family <br />Attached lots per the "Prairie Hamlet Second" plat drawing dated February 15, 1999. <br />2. A Variance to the one -half acre minimum lot size to permit lot sizes of .24 to .31 acres, <br />responsive to Section 300.07, O., Subd. 7 of the Lake Elmo City Code. <br />WHEREAS, the Lake Elmo Planning Commission recommended approval of the variance and <br />the amendment of the Prairie Hamlet OP Development Stage Plan/Plat and Final Stage Plan /Plat based on <br />the following findings: <br />1. The replat will result in dwelling unit ownership consistent with. the Conditional Use Permit <br />for Single Family Attached structures on these parcels. <br />2. The overall project density and character will be unchanged from that previously approved.. .. <br />No new dwelling units will result. <br />. 3. ne replatting will result•in ownersbip dwelling units rather than rentals; and theiefore-the . <br />replatting will enhance the rural character of the Prairie Hamlet OP, as required for variance <br />from OP minimum lot size standards. <br />NOW, THEREFORE., BE IT RESOLVED, that the Lake Elmo City Council : : <br />approves the amendment of the Prairie Hamlet OP Development Stage Plan /Plat and Final Stage Plan /Plat . <br />as presented in the "Prairie Hamlet Second" plat drawing dated `�,� � subject to the- conditions. <br />ADOPTED, by the Lake Elmo City Council on April 6, 1999. . <br />Lee Hunt, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Mary uef r, ity A~' istrator <br />
